G.O.A.L. Outdoors

G.O.A.L. Outdoors is a small business based in Tazewell Va. who is passionate about the outdoors specifically focused on recreational kayaking, kayak angling, and fly fishing. Our passion is to get people outdoors and live. We want everyone to be able to experience the outdoors in a new light.  Our goal is to help educate our clients on proper paddle techniques and safety methods to better enjoy their time on the water.  It is also our hope to help our clients build a strong foundation in kayak angling and fly fishing.  Come join us for an instructional class or trip on or down one of our local lakes or rivers.  We are also available for hire to lead groups of ten or less on river trips.

We are dedicated to educate people in proper paddling techniques and basic river running.

We help build a solid foundation to build upon so that every trip on the water can be safe and fun.

One of our goals is to build relationships to help strengthen community bonds through recreational activities.

"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." Ralph Waldo Emerson I think that pretty much sums me up. For me trying new things, going new places and making new friends is what it is all about. I enjoy kayak angling and paddling anywhere and anytime that I can. I have built so many wonderful relationships through the outdoors and I look forward to making many more. My passion for paddling started when I was very young sitting in the floor of a canoe. Since then I have spent many hours on the water in either canoes, S.O.T's, S.U.P's or rafts and look forward to sharing my passion with others.

"Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean," John Muir. "The mountains are calling and I must go," John Muir. These two quotes sum up what the outdoors mean to me. I enjoy being out in creation and teaching others about all the wonders it holds. From the time I was a child, I have always spent time outdoors. I love camping, Fly Fishing, hiking, kayaking and anything else I can get into. I want to be a part of helping people be able to get outdoors and live.
